CommentsMike, I still like reading your page. Keep up the good work... O think I invented a great recipe for venison chili. I need to try it again to see whether it was the ingredients or just a fluke. CommentsIn case my brother ever wants to get a hold of me CommentsLove the site. I never knew so many ways to make an MRE look so good. CommentsHelp-with all the massive budget cuts, our son's school has cancelled spring sports. In generating ideas for fundraising, I'd like to run a chili challenge cook-off. If anyone has ever been involved in one or has ideas, I would appreciate some info and suggestions ASAP! Thanks J.J. I'm hoping you will have more time for this site and keep the Leftovers and Recipes going. Val CommentsUpdated email address CommentsMike: Congrats on the new home and hearth. Living in Alex, VA. and... God! the oldest male child in going to be a junior in college this fall. Continue the mission with this site. Love the recipes, too! (Loved Bitterman's laundry rant. Ambushed one of the Boss' Frou-Frous once and after the tumble cycle, it was too tight for GI JOE to button up! and too RED for Joe, too... BAD CAMO, BAD...) LMAO. Later, Rich Commentshi mike, just left junes house and seen your mother. had a great afternoon with them. everything ok with you i hope. i dont have my own email address but am using my son johns to send this. uncle andy CommentsMike, Good story about the girl scout adventure. Thanks for sending it. Glad you made it out alive! -Bitter CommentsMike: Great site, but when they served the chili-mac I started having flashbacks of bootcamp at Ft. Benning. Will have to see my therapist.... at the local watering hole. Hows the arm??? Steven CommentsHi, Mike, LOVE the website! Michael told me about it and it's awesome. You need more vegetarian recipes, though. Lots of chicks are going veggie these days. Your business card is still hanging up in Tortilla Flats, AZ. Hope all is well with you and yours. Love, Deb CommentsHey Bro! I tried both the hot sauces you sent yesterday. The chipotle was really great and I do not much care for chipotle. I have tried a few and yours, is by far, the best I have had. The Habenaro, I felt, could be a little hotter, but the flavour is awesome. I am looking forward to trying a couple more flavours. Take care Big Bro! CommentsMike, glad to see somebody I know (though be it vicariously, now) voicing out on "Saving Private Lynch". If Americans are in such dire desperation of a hero(es), they need only watch the opening scenes to "Saving Private Ryan", search out one of the few living WWII veterans and then look 'em square in the eye as they shake the Vet's hand. If lacking a local WWII Vet (as their numbers ARE decreasing rapidly), they can easily visit one of the MANY VA hospitals. That should last them the remainder of their mortality. God bless ya' and a big howdy to the Family, WayneO CommentsMike, Your Habanero Sauce rocks!! I had poured some on my chicken today(that's not code) and just before I passed out gave some to the rest of the team. When I came to they were all running around looking for someone to slap. Awesome to add to chili as well. Great stuff. Ed CommentsMike?! Where's the special ops stuff? Am I on the right page? There's no who-rah or anything on berets?? Are you OK? Love Angel CommentsDear sirs, I 'd like to apply for a job. This is my phone: (626) 579 -4876. And my address: 11627 Roseglen St El Monte CA 91732. Thank you. CommentsMike, I dropped off the net. above is my new email. I'm back in Palm Desert CA., at my last gallery. I've closed all the rest - this is my last stand. I'm looking for work overseas starting in April or May. I'm dusting off my Arabic. Let me know if you hear of anything. Ski CommentsMike, I'll be leaving LA in about 1 1/2 weeks. Email address will remain the same, but I don't know about the cell phone. Not sure if it will work where I'm going. If I get to England, I'll give you a call, and I just got a number for Jimmy Blakesley in Germany. I'll stay in touch. Dave CommentsHi, I am interested in trading links. Please check out my site at www.thechillifactory.com.au and let me know if you would like to proceed. Cheers, Greg Commentskeep the Bush propoganda going! J.J. CommentsMike: KUDOS on this last Main Course. Richie Lee Ferguson went down in Tikrit, Mike Stack went down on Easter Sunday, racing down to support a Group Loggie run that got ambushed between Al-Hilla and Baghdad. The relief column itself was ambushed and finally with Spectre overhead and a Marine QRF coming in to help, they finally got out. But it was too late for Mike. The Swimmers and Hunters are going back out, day and night, and they will NOT be pushed out of country. I WISH I was ten years younger. To the consternation of all the Army dudes (and dudettes), we both insisted in carrying on a non-subdued conversation covering all the 5 Ws and Y? ...interspersed with a couple of WTF,O? covering the Y are you here in Iraq? question. He's coming back around EOM January to permanently (?) work down here. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! You're Right, it does feel good to say that! Hey? That dude carrying the MAG-58 looks somehow Familiar?!!.... LMAO!!!!! 'Tikriti Rik' PLEASE vote for ME, I'm running for Fire Chief of Tikrit. (Right) I'm sure the 'Opposition' party (The jihadi 'tourists') wouldn't appreciate the HUMOR of ME in THAT JOB!! GUNS UP!!
CommentsHi Mr. Jacquard, Really enjoyed your comments on the "Recipe of the Week" page about Christmas. And yes, it is, and will always be CHRISTmas for me and mine! So, call me old fashioned. Anyway, thanks, for expressing so eloquently what so many of us are already thinking. Keep up the good work and the good recipes. That chipped beef one really brings back memories. Take care, and God Bless. Until next time... Your friend, Regina Swint. rys
CommentsOnce again, you hit the nail on the head. It's really scary, the way you and I think alike, Mike. Dave

CommentsRegarding Iraqi boy's trip... "In fact, they said in the story that he actually spent time with some terrorists so he could get their side of the story. Yeah… tell me he didn’t have any inside help." You bet...considering the fact that he didn't speak a word of Arabic and brought along a English-Arabic dictionary. How exactly does he get in cozy with the terrorists without being able to speak with them? Suspicious anyone? Feds...please watch this kid for the next few years, yikes.
