Cold Nights, Hot Blues

The Blues Crew hit the road again when our man in Iraq, Jeff Kay, returned for the 20th anniversary celebration at one of our favorite venues, the Wilbarston Village Hall in Wilbarston, England.

Headlining the act was Buddy Whittington, a big ol’ Texas guitar player formerly with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. Absolutely AWESOME!

Unfortunately I had to forego the second half of the Blues Road Trip where my man Jeff and Mike Redding drove to Amsterdam to meet up with another great blues guitarist, Walter Trout.

They tell me it was a great time.

Bastards.
